I recommend that you re-size any pictures before you email them because a typical digital picture is 8MB and even one of these is often too much for any email.
I recommend downloading a small free programme called Fotosizer. This will re-size any picture or folder of pictures to any size. I recommend 800x600 pixels each.

Below is also another very useful service that allows huge files to be moved across the internet. It's called YouSendIt.
With the FREE
version you can tranfer one file up to a size
of 100MB - though this can of course be a zipped (compressed)
folder containing many different files.
All you do is upload your file to the YouSendit
page, and once this is done you then send or post an email link to anyone
that you want. They can then download the file from YouSendit,
within 7 days. It's quick too.

Below is another usefull programme too. Its called PDF Creator and it can turn any document into a useful format that can be easily read on any computer.
Once
installed it just adds another option to your Print menu, but instead
of a paper document it creates an Adobe.pdf
type file.
Being small files they can be more easily
moved across the internet than say Word documents,
but with no loss of quality.
Also, they can open within 99% of computers already, either within an
up-to-date browser or using the Adobe PDF reader
which is also freely available.
